Marina Colonna is a triple threat performer, teacher, and fitness instructor based in New York City. She grew up in New Jersey and then attended the American Musical Dramatic Academy (AMDA, NYC) and received her BFA in Musical Theater from The New School. Marina has not only had involvement in the industry on the stage, but has also worked behind the scenes in casting offices, talent agencies, and for well-acclaimed producers. She began teaching musical theater, acting, dance, and voice after graduating from college and has blossomed into a well-seasoned teacher, director, and choreographer through her many years of experience. She teaches for and creates various programs throughout NYC and NJ. Currently, she is the Director of Performing Arts and Assistant Director of Physical Education at the Alexander Robertson School in New York City. She finds great joy in seeing her students grow into their full potential not only as performers but as individuals.
After many years of simultaneously teaching and performing, Marina has pursued an additional career path in Fitness. Marina has earned a Barre Instructor certification and Group Fitness Instructor certification. She is a well-known instructor at the highly acclaimed fitness club, Equinox. She teaches at various locations across NYC. She actively conducts in-person and virtual barre/fitness classes. At the end of the day, her ultimate goal is to be able to connect with others and inspire them to reach their full potential.
